Professional Portfolio

Life is about learning new things.

I love to learn. This page is dedicated to a wide variety of things I have done in my work and volunteer life. My past experiences have been vast and varied. It’s given me a unique and positive outlook on life. I have been a graphic designer, an advertising copywriter, a photojournalist, a managing editor, a collaborator, an actress, an event planner, a fundraising consultant, a choreographer, a teacher, a counselor, a moderator, and a facilitator, the things you see on this page tell only a small part of my story.
Acting: Cast as “Valerie Miller” for Murder Comes to Town, episode 101 “Rumor Has It”, shot locally for Investigation Discovery Channel. Valerie and her husband “Big Mike” were shot and killed by someone close to the family. The episode premiered on Monday, Jan. 13, 2014. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HTAZC7A/ref=cm_sw_r_fa_dp_5D4atb1MXTJ8N

FREELANCE

As a freelance artist, I have done everything including brochures, logo design, face painting, set design, and tablescapes, which helped greatly with my event planning skills to arrange a holiday dinner for those less fortunate.

As a committee member and event planner, I helped organize an event to honor civil rights leaders here in Knoxville. I designed advertising and marketing materials, produced press releases about the event, and appeared on local news discussing the event. I also processed and organized ticket sales, worked with the honorees and local civic organizations for program participation, arranged the seating chart for over 600 attendees, worked as the event treasurer and designed the tablescapes. Here are some links publicized about the event…
